Return

Well, it has been a bit since I last posted. Some family issues have arisen this past week and really thrown me off my game. But now it is time to return to what is important: food and exercise. Last night I had mexican Lean Cuisine dish which I of course doctored up with some frozen onions/peppers mix, scoop of salsa verde, and few tortilla chips for crunch!

I also had a side salad topped with carrots, onions, apple chunks, and cheese.

Exercise/more food:
In the morning I did a quick 25 min jog on the treadmill. To make up for missing a workout last night I did 40 minutes on the elliptical and 20 minutes of weights! This morning my body needs nourishment so...I had Yoplait cinnamon roll yogurt(new obsession) with strawberries and a piece of toast/raspberry perserves! This morning I am hoping to hit the bike for 20 minutes while I work on catching up on my DVRed shows!

TGIF

Well, it is Friday, which means the weekend! I have been doing cardio every night this week (yesterday 45 minutes running/walking through downtown). So either the bikini is coming out or I am treating myself to a big hamburger and fries...or ice cream...yet to decide!

Anyway, on to the food: above is my breakfast, Yoplait Thick and Creamy Cinnamon Roll (first time trying-it is delicious!!!!) with strawberries and blueberries. On the side Light Wheat Toast with sugar-free black raspberry preserves!

Repeat Day

Today for dinner I had the same salad as yesterday. It is delicious and I used up some ingredients from the fridge! Did not get in my yoga this morning, but walked to work as always. Needing to get in cardio tonight so I can wear my swimsuit this weekend!

Most Important Meal of the Day

Oatmeal is one of the best ways to start the day. It keeps me full for so long! Here is an instant oatmeal with fresh strawberries, blueberries, and a drizzle of honey.

Also plan on doing some ab work before work this morning
